It is all luck of the draw when it comes to genetics. If someone in your family is bald, there is a higher probability that you may develop androgenic alopecia, but it is not guaranteed. Genetics can sometimes skip generations.

So, even though many think that steroids directly cause ones hair to fall out, this is not entirely true. It will only stimulate and speed up hair loss for those who are prone to male pattern baldness. However, it is not a good idea to take any type of steroid unless prescribed by a medical professional.
